IT Security Specialist (Bilingual Korean required)
Timpl has partnered with a global EV battery manufacturing company and they're looking for an IT Security Specialist.

Summary: The purpose of this position is to manage all aspects of Company’s physical & cyber security.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our security systems, as well as the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures
- Conduct security assessments of facilities, systems, and processes to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions 
- Monitor and investigate security breaches to determine their root cause and develop corrective action plans
- Manage security operations for special events, including developing security protocols, coordinating with law enforcement, and overseeing security personnel
- Train employees on security procedures, such as proper badge use, handling of sensitive materials, and evacuation procedures 
- May be required to respond to incidents, including acts of violence; investigate incidents and prepare reports for insurance claims and legal proceedings
- Work with local law enforcement and on site security personnel to resolve security issues
- Keep abreast of new security technologies and trends 
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security laws and regulations - Conduct patrols to audit the status of physical security
- Attend meetings and work with team members to ensure a safe a secure working environment
- Maintain reports and documentation

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree Information Security or Computer Science. 
- Certificated in the area of Information Security (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CASP, etc.) preferred Experience: 
- 1 to 3+ years of experience in Information Security or Information Technology 
- Experience and knowledge of physical security systems, including access control, CCTV preferred Skills: 
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of security principles, including risk assessment and mitigation
- MS Office tool-based report writing and effective communication and presentation skills
- Bilingual skills, writing and speaking, in English and Korean highly preferred
