Production Specialist (Bilingual Korean required)

Timpl has partnered with a global EV battery manufacturing company and they're looking for a Production Specialist.


Summary:
This position will provide support to the Production Manager by coordinating inventory assignments and projects related to production, finished goods inventory and help provide a smooth flow of materials throughout the process. This position will lead monthly inventory counts, assist in implementing a cycle counting process, production material flow improvements and with translating the customer demands into a production schedule.



Responsibilities:
  • Perform physical inventory counts, track and report inventory accuracy, reconcile inventory issues daily and perform monthly inventory closing
  • Perform inventory monitoring to ensure product quality
  • Manage a detailed production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and inventory levels
  • Assist in adjusting schedules as needed to respond to changes in demand, supply chain disruptions, or production issues.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure that schedules are feasible and align with production capacity.
  • Perform thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources to identify root causes and supply possible solutions
  • Monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions and fulfilling work orders to assure that they are accurate and timely 
  • Track yield production throughout week, month, and year 
  • Communicate issues with other Inventory Teams at LG & Hyundai (local and worldwide locations)  
  • Participate in team meetings (daily and weekly) to discuss production and inventory status
  • Assist with providing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production scheduling conflicts, material shortages, and other issues that may impact production
  • Preparing investment verification committee and investment reports regularly
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experience

Experience:
  • 3 to 5+ years of related experience
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Lean/six sigma experience preferred
  • SAP (ERP) system experience preferred
