MES Software Engineer (Bilingual Korean required)

Timpl has partnered with a global IT services and solutions company and they're looking for a MES Software Engineer.

Schedule: Full-time, 8 hours per day. Availability for emergency support as needed, including on holidays and off-hours.

 

Job Summary: We are looking for MES software engineers with at least 3 years of experience in the field to improve and manage the Equipment Application Program (EAP), which serves as an interface between equipment and the MES (Manufacturing Execution System).

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain services for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to Equipment Application Program integration within SK battery manufacturing.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for production-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Occasionally visit production lines to address issues in person at the request of clients or stakeholders.

 

Requirements:

[Essential Qualifications]

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Windows-based .Net C# WinForms programming.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Fluent in English or Korean, with strong skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

 

[Preferred Qualifications]

• Bilingual in English and Korean.
• Experience in Java programming.
• Familiarity with TIBCO Rendezvous middleware.
• Experience working with EV (Electric Vehicle) battery manufacturing systems.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident (green card holder) preferred.
