Electric Technician (Bilingual Korean required)

Timpl had partnered up with a global EV battery manufacturing company and is looking for a Electric Technician. 
Summary
This position will serve as a subject matter expert and perform maintenance tasks on a variety of equipment and systems throughout the facilities.



Responsibilities:
•    Troubleshoots, repairs, maintains and overhaul equipment such as Electrical Distribution Components, System and Controls and other Electrical equipment. 
•    The equipment is maintained to meet the operational conditions of each facility.
•    
Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
•    Diagnosing electrical faults for facility systems.
•    Order parts and material for repairs and maintain stock.
•    Plan and implement electrical equipment maintenance.
•    
Preventive maintenance execution to complete all PM tasks.
•    Demonstrate problem solving methodology and reduce a loss of utility cost.
•    Initiate continuous improvement activities
•    Follow the work procedure and comply with safety & standard.
•    Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
   - Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
   - Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container

•    Perform other duties as assigned.



Qualifications:
•    High School Diploma or GED require.
•    Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience.



Experience:
•    3 to 7+ years of previous work-related skills, knowledge, or experience with advanced education or training.
•    Exposure in mechanical equipment setting, preferably in battery production facility and Manufacturing experience.
•    Experienced with the handling of HVAC, Chiller, Air compressor, Steam/Hot Oil Boiler, SRP, Dust Collector, A/C Tower etc.



Skills:
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Proficient Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD capabilities.
•    Korean language proficiency a plus.
