Timpl has partnered up with a global EV battery manufacturing company and is looking for a Senior Recruiter. 

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Sr. Specialist - Recruiter to help in fostering a positive and highly effective working environment based on mutual respect and a shared goal of being the number one supplier to our customers. This position will work in close partnership with our internal customers and external service providers to recruit for both hourly and salaried positions.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Work closely with internal staff to identify specific needs for different positions and create annual hiring plan
  • Source and interview job applicants, evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant's qualifications for exempt and non-exempt positions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employment agencies, universities and other recruitment sources
  • Assist with preparing and maintaining company compensation structure, job documentation, and job evaluation systems. Complete salary survey questionnaires
  • Work to foster a highly desirable workplace with the involvement of all team members to achieve our shared goals
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, initiate changes as necessary to ensure compliance with law, corporate policies and business objectives
  • Provide assistance and counselling to employees on HR policies and personal issues, and keep employees informed of all changes in HR policies

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication or a related field
  • PHR certification preferred
  • 3-10+ years of experience handling a broad range of responsibilities preferably in a manufacturing environment, focused on recruiting/staffing and compensation analysis
  • Experience in high volume mass hiring preferred
  • Experience as both internal and external recruiter is a plus
  • Requires the ability to use good judgment and discretion with highly confidential business and team member information
  • Positive attitude and demonstrated effectiveness in accomplishing goals
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills
  • Able to work flexible hours occasionally to support entire production team
