Payroll Specialist II
Timpl had partnered up with a global EV battery manufacturing company and is looking for a Payroll Specialist II.
Job Summary: In this position you will support both the Benefits and Payroll areas. You will have the opportunity to grow and learn in a hands-on role. you will ensure timely, accurate wages payments and internal/external compliance. Moreover, you will analyze payroll and related expenses and provide insight for management team. This position works in close partnership with our internal customers and external service providers. You will be responsible for all aspects of the Benefits Programs, including medical and dental plans, life insurance, short/long-term disability, wellness, HAS’s, flexible spending account programs, 401k, open enrolment, workers compensation, and retirement plans. Additionally, you will work with vendors and HR/employees to problem solve issues, address concerns and ensure accurate and timely administration of the plans. Responsibilities:
Assist managing benefit vendor relationships
Provide timely and accurate day-to-day administrative support to HL-GA Battery Company benefits including health, wellness, and retirement programs.
Process and track all employee FMLA, ADA, and/or other similar leaves or absence while ensuring compliance with applicable law and Company policy. FMLA Source administers all FMLA/ADA leave of absences.
Perform quality audits of benefits-related data, including checking the accuracy of benefit enrollments in the HRIS and with the vendors, vendor billing accuracy, and payroll coding and deduction accuracy
Provide support with payroll functions, Total Rewards policies and procedures, data requests, and general reporting.
Prepare and setup benefit meetings to obtain information and explain company benefits and other related incentive programs
Collaborate with the HR Analyst to complete records, reporting, and other documentation required by federal, state, and provider rules, regulations, and policies
Participate in annual benefits enrolment activities including planning, preparation and testing of online enrolment platform, as well as auditing for enrolment accuracy
Handle special projects and all other duties as assigned by the HR Leader
Maintains complete and accurate records of leaves and related information
Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:

Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience
3 to 6 plus years minimum of hands-on HR work experience (including employee benefits/compensation and system administration)
Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and compensation and applicable laws
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to remain confidential and handle sensitive data
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of pertinent federal and state regulations, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Workers Compensation, Medicare, Social Security and DOL requirements
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with high level of customer service and follow through
