Timpl has partnered with a 1 tier supplier for a global automobile manufacture and is seeking for a Production Management Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultural Liaison: Facilitate communication and understanding of cultural differences among team members.
- Translation Support: Assist the Production Manager with translating documents, both written and verbal.
- Inventory Management: Oversee and maintain inventory of semi-finished and completed parts.
- Process Analysis: Evaluate production processes, results, and downtimes to improve efficiency.
- Operational Support: Contribute to the efficiency of production operations.
Essential Functions:
- Inventory Tracking: Create and manage daily inventory status reports.
- Performance Review: Monitor and analyze daily/monthly operation and efficiency rates.
- Equipment Management: Manage and procure equipment needed on the production floor (e.g., welding electrodes, air-powered tools).
- Collaboration: Work closely with both Korean and the USA Supervisors to meet production needs.
- Production Planning: Prepare and distribute daily production plans, and review daily results.
- Engineering Changes: Manage and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) as needed.
- Corrective Actions: Address recurring manufacturing issues affecting quality and efficiency.
- Training: Develop and deliver training materials for new production personnel.
- Process Improvement: Participate in and implement productivity improvement initiatives.
- Personnel Allocation: Oversee and optimize the allocation of production personnel.
- Cycle Time Analysis: Analyze cycle times, downtimes, and productivity for each line.
- New Model Trials: Conduct and follow up on new model trials and FIFO control for ECOs.
- Layout Optimization: Modify production line layouts to enhance productivity.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Supervise production team leaders and members in the Supervisor's absence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Less than 2 years of experience as a Production Specialist.

Reporting Structure:
- Reports directly to the Production Manager.
- Coordinates with Production Floor Supervisors, team leaders, and members.
