SCM Manager (Bilingual Korean required)
Timpl has partnered with a global food company and is seeking for a SCM Manager.
Responsibilities
• Lead Production Management, Strategy Planning and Analyzing Data
• The Individual conducts weekly meetings with related employees to review future forecasts based on the expected level of service. The individual works closely with the Sales Teams to review sales and order forecasts, review week-over-week forecast changes, and acts as the point of contact between HQ, the Sales Team, and 3PL
• Coordinates processes and protocols to achieve customer objectives related: Forecasting, Special Order, Item/Data Management, Order Management
• Managing for logistical planning such as warehousing, distribution, vendor management, 3PL, and inventory control in collaboration with operations teams
• Support purchasing, demand forecasting, cost analysis, managing KPI and process innovation with SCM departmental counterparts
• Coordinate actions Operations, Sales, and Logistics teams for Direct Ship/Import programs to develop necessary tools/reporting/KPIs
• Works independently, and considered an experienced professional with adequate understanding of own job area
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, economics or similar
• Food industry career is plus
• Required +8 years experience should be in supply chain, nationwide
distribution, material management and planning
• The ability to develop, read, prepare, interpret, and understand product shipment information from various order and shipping documents to ensure accuracy and thorough preparation of transportation documents
• Resolves problems of moderate to large scope where data analysis requires the identification of obscure or undefined factors and decisions significantly impact business performance.
• Exercises judgment, makes decisions on business situations outside established procedures, and approves exceptional cases.
• High level of proficiency with MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and database software such as SAP is required
